From April 22-24, 2024, the 18th International Conference on Railway, Communication and Signaling Technology took place at the Holiday Inn Žilina hotel. Thanks to its quality, the conference once again attracted both domestic and international representatives of companies from the railway transport sector.
The conference was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport of the Slovak Republic and the University of Žilina. Partners of the conference included Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko, a.s. and Železnice Slovenskej republiky.
The participants were welcomed by Professor Ing. Aleš Janota, PhD., representing the University of Žilina, and Ing. Karol Henzély, MBA, representing ZSSK a.s. On behalf of BETAMONT s.r.o., the participants were welcomed by its executive director, Ing. Ondrej Maciak.
The main goal of the conference is to provide a platform for discussions on railway transport issues, their solutions, and new business relationships, by addressing topics that resonate with the current state of infrastructure. Suppliers and representatives of the private sector, who contribute to the development and operation of this sphere, are also an important part.
